XP2: The ordinal 233 could not be located-SHDOCVW.DLL Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 9:57 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Victor (13 messages posted) After upgrading to XP2 my Norton Antivirus 2004 has been giving me this error: AXWIN Frame Windows: cfgwiz.eze - Ordinal Not Found The ordinal 233 could not be located in the dynamic link library SHDOCVW.DLL This error message pops up like 5 times and then Norton comes up in a blank window. I also get this message when accessing certain help files. I tried searching for help here : http://forum.gladiator-antivirus.com/index.php?showtopic=17470&st=15 but the suggestions didn't work. So far I have ordered a copy of SP2 via CD and installed it based on a recommendation that the DLL in the downloaded SP2 was corrupted. This didn't make a difference. So I went into System32\ and System32\dllcache and renamed the Sep 29th, 2004 version of the DLL and copied the August 04, 2004 file into the directory. This didn't work either. Any suggestions?
