I am running XP Professional:
First of all, in order to test, just open your task manager, find "explorer.exe"
in running proc's and kill it. Then file---new task-----explorer.exe----enter, of
course, if you are making registry mods you will have to reboot to test.
Secondly, yes, I have a program installed that is similar to tweakUI, SystemMechanic
professional 4.x.
Basically, I auto-hide the taskbar everytime I kill explorer.exe or reboot, and it
is annoying, I want to remain hidden, but alas, I can't make it. Does anyone know
which registry keys to play with? I have been in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\taskbar*
To no avail, though I am sure I am close.
