Question about 'Special folders no longer work like they should'

I have a question about Special folders no longer work like they should:

I did a clean install of xp. Now when I load a disc in cd rom, it opens a search box, instead of going directly to the program. Hope I'm in the right place for this question. Please, any help is appreciated
