re: Question about 'Set Defaults in Explorer' Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 8:03 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Martin Plamondon (1 messages posted) About all these folder settings, how would I manage to... 1- tell Explorer to set c:\mp3s and sub-folders as detail view with music specific columns. 2- tell Explorer to set c:\images and sub-folders as thumbnail view 3- tell Explorer to set c:\worddocs and sub-folders as a standard detailed folder. All I see is "Apply to all folders" choice in "Tools/Folder Options", nothing like "Apply to sub-folders". And the "Customize this folder..." right-click choice on the folder put whatever needed for say music or images as type of folder and has a "sub-folders" option, but resets the view to tiles, can't keep the view option.
