HI . I have new dell computer dell XPS Gen the latest model and I had the same problem, I went to the dealer and they re-installed the windows XP but after one day I still got this system32 pops up. But I found the link on Dells support page, there is a patch to fix this promblem , the name of it is R75304.EXE (1 MB) just search for it and run it, its working great no Sytem32 pops up anymore.
