he's speaking 'bout the xp upgrade cd, which is not bootable.
There's a way, but can't rem exactly.
Like booting to dos frm a boot floppy or any boot cd, and run "winnt32.exe in the
"i386" folder of xp cd using dos commands. Also, it may ask for verification and
you have to insert the win 98 cd.
DO a google search. I know people doing it.
BTW, u can download dootdisks or boot floppies for xp or 98. Just search and copy
/ burn the data to cd or floppy
