re: sound device error -- READ THIS HERE Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 7:51 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by HunTOR (1 messages posted) I've tried these steps, but I still get this message in the Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator's settings: "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)" I tried doing "update driver" but this didn't help. Any suggestions?
