Not relevant. I disabled it before and Explorer.exe keeps crashing (rarely, but still
as much as before).I met a similar situation: when trying to delete an AVI file
that Explorer is reading to extract duration, size and all, it crashes, probably
due to an unexpected sharing violation.
(I found this thread googling up a way to react to Explorer.exe crashes, ironically.)
