Does backing up my files then restoring it means that I don't have to install the operating system again? For example I created a back-up image of all my disks and partitions and also my registry and then I formatted my computer. My question is: After formatting the disks, will I still be required to install OS to restore my back-ups? Or it is possible to restore the OS by the use of those back-ups? Hope you can help me..
