BSODs (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, etc.) when exiting game

Every time I try to exit Age of Mythology: The Titans, I get a BSOD, usually IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL,
but sometimes PFN_LIST_CORRUPT or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. Help is appreciated.
Relevant system details:
Self-built
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with Zalman HSF
PQI 512MB DDR SDRAM, one module
Generic 52x CD-RW
MadDog DVD+-RW
