I finally had the memory module changed and my PC has been working well. I've used
it for a couple of hours running Sims2... and it hasn't crashed again!
I did have some trouble getting it replaced, the shop is saying it didn't see any
error. And the irritating part about it is they didn't even run the memtest86 fully.
They're claiming that if you see 1 Pass, and don't see an error, then there's nothing
wrong with the memory!
But I had to be persistent and finally they gave me a replacement.
