The more GUI way to make something like this display for all users by default is to do the following 1. Make your changes (File extensions, desktop backgroup, etc) 2. Log in with a local admin account. It can't be the one that you made changes to. You won't be able to copy the profile if you are. 3. Right click my computer 4. Properties 5. Advanced 6. User Profiles (settings button) 7. Select the user profile from Step 1 8. copy this profile to "c:\documents and settings\default user" 9. Any user to log into the computer after this point will automatically have all the settings that you configured... configured.
