Not adding to this post but additional advice for others: Before doing anything else,
first go to System Device Manager and check off "Show Hidden Devices". Most of you
will be in for a surprise I'd bet. Often, an item or two has been disabled and only
needs to be enabled without needing to install anything else. See for yourself, what
first appears to be no error messages in your device manager........
