Everything was fine with the computer until I updated my AOL 9.0 to the Aol 9.0
Security Edition. Then I started getting the message - the generic host for Win32
encountered a problem and needs to shut down. I sent the "error report" to microsoft
everytime until they told me it was AOL and AOL was working hard to fix the problem.
I also had some other problems with my e-mail.
So I then I uninstalled AOL, I then used the computer search funtion to find everything
AOL left behind.I deleted everything with AOL in it. I then cleaned up the registry
and shortcuts with my Norton SystemWorks (the only safe way to do this that I know
of).
I then found an old AOL 9.0 and installed it. No more problems with error messages
about a generic host for Win32! No more problems with my e-mail.
