Removing Shortcut Arrows on Desktop Icons

This is my first time at Annoyances.org and I'm wondering: You've got a list of questions regarding why the position of program icons on our PC's Desktops won't 'Stay-Put' - yet I've not seen one explanation or answer from you regarding this query - so, what's the freakin' use of this? I can't lock my Desktop because I use Transparent W, and locking the icons overides the Transparent software - so, yea - their moving around all over the place and it's a real drag. If all you've got are questions without any answers - that's an 'Annoyance'!

Using WindowsXP, DELL Dimension 3000, I really need this software again (had it on WinME system) but can't seem to find it in your site - and I've been all over the place in this thing looking for it. Would you please help me out with this?
