According to Microsoft "Windows Explorer", formerly named "File Manager" in previous versions of Windows, is also one of the tasks that "Explorer" runs. I use "Windows Explorer" often and it apparently causes "Explorer" to crash often. Is there a way to restore "Windows Explorer" automatically when "Explorer" crashes? Does Symantic sell a Norton File Manager for XP? Extensis file manager doesn't crash but it is a photo cataloqing system. Thanks, Howie
