Hi Craig thanks for your help i really appreciate anything i can get at this point..i
cant run any program from the start menu..i realized that it wasn't just my desktop
items but all my programs, icons from start menu desktop, i cant even get "my computer"
to work. When i click on a program to open a complete differetn program comes up.
(its yazak for some reason) I quickly skimmed through some of the properties to these
programs and noticed that the target info was spot on but the file was labeled as
a .lnk file.
sorry if im not supplying the correct info but im doing my best. :)
