my computer's CD drive has been acting up. before, it used to give me that window
asking me what i wanted to do (play, take no action, etc) but now when i insert a
CD the CD drive light blinks but nothing happens. when i go to mycomputer, it doesn't
even acknowledge that a CD-R is in the drive. i've followed EVERY single step in
this thread. i've downloaded all the software that people recommended and changed
the registry keys (some people said use 91 and some people said 95 and i've tried
them both.) i've also deleted roxio and nero. is there any more advice?
i ran that autofix.exe from microsoft but it failed in fixing the problem. in fact,
