Everyone talks about "disable the pointing stick!". My one and single question is...
How does one go about turning off the pointing stick? I'm on a Dell Inspiron 8000
if it matters at all. This pointing stick I used to use ALL of the time and it worked
fine. Now, however, it just goes HAYWIRE if I bump it and it takes me a good 2-3
minutes to bump it to where it stops going haywire. It usually FLIES to the bottom
left or upper right corner so fast that I only see the mouse pointer for 2 frames.
Sometimes it shoots back and forth between the two corners... anyway...
So, how do I turn my pointing stick off? Is it possible to keep the touchpad on?
