Hi,
Got the same Missing Icons problem on a Dell D600 computer. Can it be that it happens
more often with Dell laptops or laptops in general? I noticed that several of you
mentioned they use Dell laptops.
By the way, I use ZoneAlarm Pro with antivirus etc., use bluetooth devices and have
a wireless network. I also travel a lot and use public hotspots. Things were fine
at the beginning, but after around 1 month of heavy use of the computer things got
messy and icons would disappear.
Well, the trick with killing the explorer worked. All the others I need to test.
I really appreciate all the good input on this forum - found no better place for
answers.
