I see TigerLilly's message is old now, but I am having a similar problem so wonder
if her problem was resolved.
I just reinstalled XP and have developed several annoying problems. The lack of sound
is the latest one and since the sound card is on the motherboard it's probably not
the card which was working just fine. I have a ShuttleX machine. Seem to have had
a myriad of problems over the two years I've owned it.
Thanks for your help.
