If you're still here...the same thing happened to me. I just fixed it by right clicking
the "paint" at the end of the trail and deleting . My mistake, before, was right
clicking and deleting the subject headings under "paint" because I didn't know the
registry key WAS "paint". I wanted to add this because it is sooo annoying and irritating
when people assume you know the "stupid" stuff. Good Luck.
