Question about 'Why don't folders remember their position, sort order, or icon size?'

I have a question about Why don't folders remember their position, sort order, or icon size?:

I use the browse feature a lot. Whenever I enter my browse feature, the window always sorts in order of largest file. This is not particularly useful when I'm searching for something by name. I have not been able to find any way to change the default sort behavior of the browse window. The "Apply to all folders" feature discussed on annoyances.org does not fix this problem. Ideas? Is there a registry key I need to change?
