i cant get any audio from mpeg tv? please help.

I've been able to get my TV to work with all the channels but, I'm not able to get any sound plus I'm not able to find anything in the help documentation. I know it works because, it worked fine before I reformatted my hard drive. Can anyone tell me how to get the sound back? I appreciate it very much.
