I have a question about Things that slow down system bootup. I run windows xp. My task manager shows 40 to 44 task at start up. I eliminated all my auto updates and that helped a little. The problem I have is that I do not know which Task to eliminate from start up. What is neccessary and what is not . My cpu's run 2--5 that seems ok. Memory is 512 with 80% free space after defrag. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
