The tip for lowering the FSB speed worked for me. I had just put in an older processor, 133 seemed fine but got the copy errors when trying to put in xp. Putting it to 100 suddenly fixed it. Don't know why, but it definitely did the trick. Weird, as 133 seemed to work fine.
