How do you try to do that? If you want to use task scheduler and the maintenance task requires admin privileges (most maintenance tasks do), then you need to do one of these:
  1. Use the "run only if logged on" box in the job's properties, the task will run interactively if you do that
  2. Set a password to your account and enter the password into the job too. The task will fail if you change the password.
  3. Create another admin account with a password and use it to run the job (and only for task scheduler jobs). IMO this is the best option.
