CD Drive won't recognize burnt CD's Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 1:28 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Alex (2 messages posted) My CD drive won't recognize certain CD's. It seems that they are mainly CD's that have been burnt, but sometimes the drive doesn't read professionally-made CD's either. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? It seems that the computer doesn't even know a CD is in the drive, because when I open the drive folder in My Computer it tells me to insert a CD. Thanks in advance.
