Hi Sally, Pull the plug out after the system shuts down and open the computer box
after disconnecting any other wiring. After the box is open notice the video card.
It's the card farthest from the edge of the box and the monitor cable would plug
into it. Take out the screw holding down the video card. The little lever (usually
there) at the bootm and other end of the card gets pushed down (usually) and lift
the card out of the slot completely. Examine the slot and the card carefully. Optionally
replace with another working video card to verify the problem. Replace the card
in the computer. Look at the bottom where it fits into the motherboard to see it
is down completely and evenly. Put the case and the wires back.
