Problem with Sound Device Sunday, May 29, 2005 at 7:08 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by J (48 messages posted) When I try and play any media files, the sound does not play and Windows media player comes up with a message saying 'windows media player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer' How do I install the sound device if thats what I need to do?
