I have the same problem with a Medion (pc mt6)
3GHz, 512MB, Medion Radion9800XL, C-media ac97, HD 160GB st2160021a, dvd, dvd-rw,
7*usb, 1394, Medion flash XL cardreader, Modem V.9x, nic, wifi, Medion tv-tuner
7314 mk2/3, WinXP sp2

It freezes at any time. The screen stays on.
Mouse+keyb+powerbutton not responding
Dvdtrays can still be opened but nothing happens.

Once I say the screen mess up the mousepointer and the colors thanged as if he used
the wrong pallette.

Could it be a virus or trojan?
