I have a question about How
to Share Files through Windows XP's Internet Connection Firewall:I have 3
computers (A,B,& C) networked thru a Linksys router. Clicking "show network computers'"shows
all 3 computers. All 3 computers show all 3 computers just fine. I can use A to access
files on both B and C. Clicking on C from B or B from C opens a list of files, which
is good. But try to open A from either B or C returns a message that reads:" \\A
is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact
the Administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
Access denioed. "
So it seems that A is blocked, but how do I unblock it? I have no idea where else
to look. It's diving me buggy!!!
PS,
This all started when I installed SP2.
