Friday, June 24, 2005 at 8:55 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by eSkiSo (1 messages posted) Do this: START->Run there write: REGEDIT now by clicking on the left side go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\ Now on the rigth side double-click on: "NoActiveDesktop" now on the text box change the value to: "1" and press OK Then double click on "ForceActiveDesktopOn" change the textbox value to: "0" and press OK That was what was missing...but dont forget to: 1 -] Checked on "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" (System->Advanced Tab->Performance box->Settings->Visual Effects tab) 2 -] Unchecked "Lock Web Items On Desktop" (Right click on desktop->Arrange icons by) 3 -] Unchecked all Web Items (Control Panel->Display->Desktop tab->Customize Desktop->Web tab) NOW ITS DONE.
