Was scanning for virii and saw directories and files not listed in windows explorer Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 12:12 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by DJ Darkness (2 messages posted) I was scanning for viruses the other day like normal and while scanning through directories I noticed a directory that wasnt listed in windows explorer with hundreds of .zip files in it. I could not access via explorer but was able to access through DOS. I deleted all the files and the directory. My question is how did this get on my computer and is there a way to tell if a directory is made again? The only way I knew it was there was due to teh scan and happened to look.
