On the first machine, after trying several times and then finally getting the OS in, whenever I tried to go into the Media Center, I would get an error message saying that the video card was not compatible with this OS. It was a little ASUS 64MB DDR card, and the OS was still running but shaky. Once I put a decent video card in, everything ran beautifully. I'm thinking maybe the hard drive, but how to tell w/o having to exchange it?
