network not networking Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 5:45 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by epicrean (5 messages posted) I have a windows XP laptop and a Windows 2000 workstation! They can ping each other no problem. Which ever boot up first can see the other one in the network control panel, while the second to boot can't. When I get XP to show the 2000 workstation it will tell me I don't have permission to access it. The 2000 is shared and I have had this setup working in the past!
