They have new functionality in the update software. It allows for quicker downloading
of the updates and it contains a somewhat modifed interface. You are still given
the option to chose the updates that you want.
"Victim" of sp2? I don't think I would call it that. SP2 has been out for a what
a year, give or take. Most, if not all, reputable software shops have fixes available
for their products to make them work with SP2. I have been running SP2 for about
a month less than it has been available. Absolutely no problems whatsoever with
it. Had a slight glitch with our backup software, but that was due to the sp2 firewall.
Turned off the firewall, since we don't need it because we are protected in other
ways, and it worked like a charm. Too many scare tactics being used to try and deter
people away from it.
