Well, one way would be to dig out a partition table editor and try to recreate the
partition table entry referencing it. Really, though, your best way would be to either
buy a set of recovery disks or else make a compressed whole-disk image and put it
in a safe place (such as multiple DVD sets--I used two sets, verified post-burn).
With the latter, however, you capture the computer's state as it is at this moment--which
works fine if its new, but really doesn't work if you've got a ton of junk on it.
My Malware Removal Instructions
Perform the following:
