I have found the solution !!! I contacted DELL and the customer rep told me that this process was designed for the Lattidue Laptop PC’s… and should be disabled on all others!! I have NO idea how/why it’s on my desk top PC!! Anyway…. Follow these steps, Open control panel, click on Administrative Services, services, find the DEventAgent, (rightclick) Properties.... set STARTUP TYPE = 'disable' This will stop the agent/program for starting at the time you boot your system. You can also click on the ‘stop’ button to disable it for the current session only. Hope this helps !!! Bob
