Yeah I guess it's better than nothing to have some suggestions.
Here's what I ended up doing. I logged into the computer as a different user and
noticed that the error was only occuring for one user, but not the other. So, I
backed up their profile in c:\documents and settings, and went to the user profiles
properties page and deleted their profile, had them log in again, and no more error.
Whatever was causing the problem was related to their profile. That is why I wanted
a way to troubleshoot this and find a cause instead of replacing hardware like everyone
else on this thread.
