I'll try, however, for some reason, when doing a "clean" install the CD ROM's do not work, the temporary drivers do not load and if trying to use the WinXP's 6 setup disks (to start up from the floppy drive) they do not load properly.... Besides, the drive that I have working allright on the SAME MOBO, a WD parallel ATA was set up as a Win98 first THEN upgraded. I figured it should work allright. My gut feeling is that there's something with the SATA and WinXP's or ASUS' MOBO when installing it.....
