Internet Explorer isn't the best choice for an image viewer, anyway. It may not even support that extension, but I don't know for sure. The most popular and freeware image viewer is Irfanview. Be sure to download the plug-ins for it, too, if you use it. I don't have the link on hand, but Google will get you there in short order! :-)
