Hi.
I have a very similiar problem like many other people reporting here, but mine seems
to be a bit different/harder. I'm unable to block drwin.exe from running - changing
the registrry setting/GUI options in Security Center and turning the apropriate service
DOES NOT change the situation- the message box:
"dwwin.exe - DLL Initialization Failed"
The application failed to initialize because the windows station is shuting down"
still pops out (NOT ALWAYS) at system restart (NOT SHUTDOWN). Could anyone have knowledge,
how can I turn off Dr. Watson, or even remove it without getting another anoying
pop-ups?
I'm suspecting another debugger I got (from MS VS NET) is taking of control, but
running explicitly Dr. Watson, that's why the system setting are not taken into account
while running it. Is there perhaps a solution to block drwin.exe simply from running
on a lower level? Would DEP help?
