You're right, there seems to be so many things that can cause this. After looking
here and on Microsoft's knowledge base, I tried a bunch of different things to fix
it.
After reading your reply, it was the second time I had heard that the install of
Service Pack 2 might be faulty. I uninstalled it and things seem to be working right
again. Thanks!
