strange bug with text files Monday, August 15, 2005 at 11:46 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Andrew (21 messages posted) First of all my computer probably has a million viruses in it but im planning on reformatting soon. But i dont think it has anything to do with this. Whenever i save a text file in notepad with the phrase "Four score and seven years" and open it back up, it's replaced with chinese characters. No other phrase does it. The file is the same size before and after.
