Hello,
I have spent late nights trying to get my 4gb of memory to show up. When I had
sp1 on my windows xp it was fine, all I had to do was add the /PAE switch in my boot.ini.
For some odd reason now that I have sp2 installed on my XP I can't get anymore
than 3gb of ram to show up, /PAE or no /PAE. The weird thing is that the only difference
is sp2. There are no motherboard issues or bios issues cause it works fine with
sp1. I have tried disabling DEP but nothing. I tried the /3gb switch in the boot.ini
- that didn't seem like it would help, but I was desperate :).
Thank you in advance if any of you computer guru's can shed some light on my predicament.
-Sincerely-
