I suppose you give each file youre saving its own specific name?I have a Shortcut
to Notepad in my Quicklaunch and have none of the problems you describe.When I do
Save-as it uses the name *.txt which when I press Save leads to absolutely nowhere
until I make it for example name.txt then it will save the file
