I had a PC at work which kept crashing. Nothing left to do except a re-install. I got the same error GDIPLUS.MAN. Plus others, i seemed to get different message every time i rebooted. I connected a different CD drive with the same disc in the drive and let xp continue with the install. All the temp files were already on the c drive and xp loaded first time. no corruption nothing.
