Michael, Check toshiba's support bulletins for document 98081609 entitled "Satellite A70/A75 and M30X/M35X may lock up or reboot when touched" (http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_dtlView.jsp?soid=950322&BV_SessionID=@@@@1813450927.1111219429@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccfaddeeeffihdcgfkceghdgngdgnj.0) I have the same problems, and Toshiba claims it to be an onboard memory problem. You will probably need to have the main board replaced.
