What do you want to transfer? E-mail, pics, word docs, spread sheets, ???

Moving to a new system is a great time to do some house cleaning. Look at everything 
on your old system, decide what programs you really want on the new system then make 
sure you have the source for them. 

Also a good time to look at anti-virus and firewall programs to decide which you 
want to use.

I found the easiest way to transfer data between two computers was to install a router 
and then setup file sharing so you can move data  from the old comp to the new one 
or direct connect them with a ethernet crossover cable.

Repair install WinXP / 
Clean install WinXP
